FAQ

How do I search?
Write one sentence, like you would to a friend: "a cheap bar in Florentin tonight for three", "good pizza near me" or "breakfast on Saturday for four". Smart search understands where, when, how many people and budget. You can also tap a food type or the filters.

How do I book a table?
On a place's page, tap "Book a table": it opens the place's booking page (Ontopo, Tabit or its own site), or calls it, or sends a WhatsApp. Dlema doesn't take bookings or payments itself.

How do you know what's open now?
From Google Maps in real time and opening hours from OpenStreetMap. Hours can change, so check with the place before you go.

I found wrong information about a place.
At the bottom of the place's page there's "Report a mistake". You can also email us. We check every report.

How are places chosen?
Our team checks every place before it appears. "Dlema Pick" marks places we especially recommend. Places can't pay to be in the app. If a place is promoted, it says "Sponsored".

Do you have kosher information?
Not yet. We don't have reliable kosher information, so we don't show it. Please check with the place.

Why does the app ask for my location?
To show how far each place is and what's near you. Your location stays on your phone. You can say no, and the app uses central Tel Aviv.

Do I need an account?
No. Everything works without one. An account (optional) only keeps your favorites on all your phones. Delete it in the app (Account → Delete account) or on the account deletion page.

Notifications?
Only if you agree: after tapping "Book a table", you can get one reminder asking if it was good. No ads.

Dark mode and language
The sun/moon button next to the flag on the home screen: automatic, light or dark. The language (Hebrew/English) is the flag button.

Accessibility
The app works with VoiceOver and TalkBack, larger text and "Reduce Motion". Details in the accessibility statement.

Privacy
We don't sell data or track you across apps. Anonymous usage statistics can be turned off under "About & credits". Everything is in the privacy policy.
