Privacy Policy

Dlema helps you find places to eat and drink in Tel Aviv. We collect as little as possible. There are no user accounts and no ads, and we never sell data.

Stays on your phone

Location: if you allow it, the app uses your location to show how far each place is. Your location is not sent to us or stored by us. Smart search sends only the distance to each place (e.g. "1.2 km"), not your location.
Favorites: saved only on your phone.

Sent to us

Booking requests: if you send one, we store your name, phone, the place, date, time, party size and notes, and we get an email about it, so we can contact you. We keep it only as long as needed to handle it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Mistake reports: if you report wrong information about a place, we store only the place, the reason, any text you wrote and the date, and we get an email about it. No personal details are stored.
Smart search: what you type is sent to our server and to Google Gemini to find matching places. We don't store searches.
Abuse protection: to stop flooding, the server briefly counts requests per internet (IP) address. These counts are deleted after about two days.

Services we use

Supabase (server and database), Google (Maps photos and Gemini), Brevo (booking and report emails), Expo (app updates), and Apple Maps / Google Maps / Waze (maps and directions). Each has its own privacy policy.

Children

The app is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Your rights

You can ask to see, fix or delete your data. Email hello@dlema.app.

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above.
